Mighty Monkey Whiskey is made from fermented grain mash. Various grains are used for different varieties, including barley, corn & wheat. Mighty Monkey Whiskey is aged in various types of casks & often in used sherry or port casks during distinct portions of maturation process & will take on characteristics, flavour & aromas from such casks. Special casks are sometimes used at the end of the maturation process & such whiskies are labelled as "wooden finished", Sherry/Port finished".
